![]() The Gangrel are loners but have a tendency to be very proud. They spend no time seeking other's approval outside of the campfire meetings, where they tell tales or their history and accounts in a competition of one-upmanship. Especially valuable are any tales having to do with the Garou as the clan members enjoy infiltrating Garou packs. Despite their general non-social manner, Gangrel are all great storytellers and will offer to share a tale or two if given the chance. Gangrel often travel in and out of nomadic packs and rarely stick to one place for long. They rely on the knowledge spread by word of mouth as is the way that their histories are recorded. They choose not to use cumbersome books that cannot be carried along during a continental wandering. General ethics of Gangrel regarding laws and traditions are: Only travel where you know you'll be accepted unless you plan on laying low. There's no problem so big it can't be ran away from. The hell with the prince! Childer are created minimally to keep the number of mouths to feed in the wilderness under control. Accounting? Masquerade... good idea... Sure, destruction is up to me on my own turf. Each man is his own prince on the road. After the Gangrel Justicar stepped down and removed the clan from its position as a Camarilla Clan, there has been much confusion regarding where the clan now stands. Many fear for the worst, including quite a few Gangrel themselves. No reason for the change has been made public, and this is something that many fear as much as the act itself. Gangrel Disciplines: Animalism, Fortitude, Protean Clan Advantages: Close to Nature - The Gangrel are able to take a free level of Animal Ken and Survival, as well as the ability to purchase Garou Lore.
