Investment. Refinement. A little tender care and a hundred years will
fix anything. The Ventrue clan has risen to the top by nurturing investments
and making the nickel travel the hundred dollar mile. Today's Ventrue stand
as giants in possession of compounded influence and resources granted to them
by their sires. They are recognized as the leaders of one of the most powerful
races ever to exist. They have gained much of their power by putting their
fingers in as many pots as possible, but it has also caused them to have
numerous enemies.
Like other clans, the Ventrue have traditions and edicts they hold fast
to as a clan. One is the dictum of Sanctuary. It insures that any Ventrue
may find shelter and safety within the haven of another Ventrue if needed.
This often lends to clan mates helping others out of trouble so as not to
have to go so far as to lend their haven. Another is the view of Accountability.
Though most see Acknowledgement by the Prince as the clipping of responsibility
to their childer, the Ventrue hold over each others head the guidance that
is expected of one's sire. This is continued until death and has lent a great
deal toward the strength of the clan as a whole. Finally, a tradition seen
less as a law and more as respect is the celebration of the Embrace Day.
A formal gathering is held and gifts are expected to be given. Though no
official prestation is awarded, the honored guest is often felt in debt to
those who provide exceptional gifts.
Ventrue strongly adhere to the Traditions of the Camarilla as it is true
that their sires before them did. The historical workings of the clan most
often dictate a member's actions, and a clan leader may consult the clan's
record of historical rulings to provide her with the insight and judgment
of clan members passed.
Ventrue Disciplines: Dominate, Fortitude, Presence
Clan Advantages: Resourceful - Ventrue are naturals in the world of finance, and
because of this, they begin with an extra Trait of the Resources Background
that cannot be lost. They also gain one Trait of Finance, High Society
or Political Influence.
The Ventrue keep very good records within their ranks and can almost certainly
be found within the clan's family tree, giving them credibility to questions
of their lineage and making them harder to infiltrate.
Clan Disadvantages: Strict Feeding - The Ventrue are truly finicky feeders. They are
restricted to only a certain type of prey, and any attempt to take blood from
other sources usually ends in regurgitation. This excludes Kindred vitae,
and it can be suppressed long enough to Embrace new childer.
Feeding Grounds: Houston and
Jasper Countys
Organization: The Directorate leads the internal affairs of Clan Ventrue.
The system is run by Clan Elders and gives out awards for achievements that benefit the Clan.

Name: William Gable III
Clan: Ventrue
Domain Arrival: Given hospitality in January of 1877.
Coterie: Unknown.
William Gable III was born in Augusta, Georgia. In the
early years of both his life and unlife, Gable lived and conducted
business in the southeastern states. Gable served as Seneschal for Edmund
Penn, former Prince of Milledgeville from 1877 until 1879. After Penn
relinquished area Camarilla control in 1879 to J. Benison Hodge, Prince
of Atlanta, Gable traveled throughout the United States but always felt
a desire for his home state of Georgia.
Gable eventually rose through the ranks of the Ventrue Directorate
through shrewd business dealings and focused strategy becoming the
Tribune for the southeast. Gable has since found residence in the
Domain of Jackson, Mississippi and assists Prince Arthur Ryder in
affairs of maintaining the domain as Camarilla. |

Name: Jason Cartwright
Clan: Ventrue
Domain Arrival: Received Hospitality in April of 2004.
Coterie: Jason is not currently affiliated with any known Coteries.
Jason was the son of a wealthy movie producer who encouraged him to join the field of
cinema. However, as Jason grew older, he elected to study law and eventually obtained
his own practice in Washington D.C. His prominence in the area obtained the notice of
the Ventrue and soon, Jason was taken into the Accounting as a ghoul. His Regnant,
having a mild fascination with cinema, directed Jason from his firm and back to the
field of movies. It was in this area where Jason was introduced to the dark side of
movies. After the embrace, Jason found himself implementing his experience from "behind
the scenes" to the legal aspects of his affairs. Jason became a shrewd member of Clan Ventrue.
Jason has since found himself in the state of Georgia beneath questionable circumstances.
Though he entered the Domain of Milledgeville with a rough beginning, he is attempting to
break old habits.

Name: J'son Nicholas Creed-Khan
Clan: Ventrue
Domain Arrival: Given hospitality in Aug. 2002.
Coterie: J'son is not currently affiliated with any known Coteries.
As the Youngest member of his sire's brood, J'son has
proven time and time again why he is called a Rising Star. Only two
years out of his accounting J'son earned the Position of Seneschal of
the Domain of Baltimore, after having served as its Harpy for only a
few months. After the death
of his Prince, his mentor and friend Emily Blackwell forced him to
leave the domain to protect him.
It was then J'son arrived in the Domain of Ga,
hoping to have the chance to learn from Prince Robert de Rainault,
however he arrived just as Robert was departing the domain not to be
heard from since. J'son soon found himself returned to city politics as
the Keeper of Elysium under then Prince Sakhalid where he was known for
strict adherence to the rules of Elysium. It wasn't long before J'son
found himself claiming the title
of Prince, a role he seemed to have been groomed for but hadn't held.
During his time as Prince J'son learned he was not the man for the job
and when
a better candidate appeared J'son stepped aside. Now he has returned to
his Role as a Knight of the Camarilla. J'son is the
great, great grandchild of the Ventrue Hardestaadt who
is viewed as the founder of the Camarilla, a fact with which he is very
proud.
