The Children of Haqim

Holding Multiple Positions
"It is 'strongly recommended' that Kindred do not hold more than one position or office within the Camarilla at the same time. The primary reason for this recommendation was in reaction to examples where certain individuals had taken on more responsibility than they could cope with, and then had found themselves performing poorly at their duties as a consequence. Such behavior will serve only to weaken the Camarilla. We serve the Camarilla best by serving Her to the best of our ability. Any division of energy will inherently mean that each role will only receive a portion of our full attention, and so performance at said duties will suffer as a consequence.
As for any scandal surrounding the decision of an individual to ignore such a 'recommendation,' I would imagine that any such decision would be appropriate to class as within the mandate for the Harpy of a Domain. The Harpy would have to decide if ignoring a strongly worded recommendation of a Justicar was indeed scandalous. Such decisions I believe are best made individually by the Harpies within each Domain concerned. Any who wish to seek advice on this matter may contact this office through the usual channels."

"Audio and video recordings of Masquerade-sensitive information (showing the usage of disciplines, discussing clans and policy, etc.) are to be seen as a breech of the Masquerade. Status and evidence are the determining factors of guilt or innocence."
Directive 02450: Vicissitude
"Tzimisce are carriers of the disease known as "Vicissitude." Infection causes madness, moral corruption, physical dissolution and ultimately: death. The plague is spread through intimate blood sharing with infected carriers. The primary carriers of the disease are the Clans of the Rebellion and their supporters.
The infected show the following documented tendencies: lawlessness, increased aggression, physical mutation to avoid Camarilla justice (after periods of lawlessness and increased aggression), and finally a mad desire to suborn Camarilla justice by mutating the forms of others -- through which the disease is spread to a new carrier and the cycle repeats itself."
Directive 02451: Primogen
"Like hand and glove, so are the Prince and Primogen Council.
The Primogen Council is a representative assembly of the Elders in the city. The Prince can refuse to admit a Primogen to this assembly. The Primogen Council can refuse to recognize a Clan’s representative to the assembly. No Prince or Primogen Council is required to accept a Primogen that is “elected.” One is or is not the oldest and most powerful representative of one’s clan in the domain. If the Clan and Primogen Council can be made to accept it, a Prince can also be Primogen.
The Primogen Council convenes at the Prince’s pleasure in the same way that Princes often rule at the pleasure of the Primogen Council."
Directive 02452: Praxis Seizure
"More than one Kindred may lay claim to the throne during an insurrection or coup. The struggle between claimants and their allies may take as long as several weeks. The only legitimate office holder is the one who holds the position at the end.
Stability is the goal. Unstable cities risk the Masquerade and tempt the enemies of the Camarilla. New Princes, or Princes who have successfully defeated an attempted coup, are not encouraged to extend mercy or hospitality to defeated rival claimants. Doing so risks stability. Stability is the responsibility of the Primogen as well as the Prince."
Directive 02453: Camarilla Positions
"The Camarilla affirms the right of Princes to create and award titles and positions within their domain. Any additional stature afforded these position holders must be awarded through traditional protocol and is not innate. Only universally recognized Camarilla positions carry innate additional stature."
Directive 02454: Domain Territory
"The Camarilla affirms the right of Princes to award sections of territory to individual Kindred. Princes retain the right to reclaim such territory at any time conditional upon their ability to enforce their will."
Directive 02455: Lasombra Antitribu and Obtenebration
"Less than a hundred Lasombra, calling themselves "Lasombra antitribu", are committed members of the Camarilla. They are to be accorded respect within our Great Society for renouncing their clanmates in the Sabbat rebellion.
All Camarilla Lasombra are strongly encouraged to register their lineage and childer with the Justicarate and their Prince so that an accurate census may be maintained. Lasombra who are not confirmed Elders in the Camarilla, trace a confirmed lineage from such Elders, or been individually registered with the Justicarate are to be considered in league with the Sabbat rebellion and dealt with accordingly.
Kindred who have learned Obtenebration from unregistered Lasombra may be considered in league with the Sabbat rebellion and dealt with accordingly. All Kindred possessing the gift of Obtenebration are strongly encouraged to register with their Prince so that the legitimacy of their teacher may be ascertained. Princes are within their rights to restrict the teaching of Obtenebration or refuse hospitality to those who do within their domain.
To further prove their unswavering devotion to the Camarilla, these Lasombra have appointed a servitor to the Justicariate. This Herald will provide references and verification of lineage should it be necessary to investigate any member of this group. Princes may contact any Justicar through the proper channels for verification should it prove necessary.
This arrangement and display of devotion has earned just reward. Henceforth, all Camarilla-loyal Lasombra are due all standing and respect of the Camarilla, and thus may serve the Camarilla in any capacity they are strong enough to hold.
Secondly, the time period alloted for Registration with this Office is now closed. Those loyal individuals who possess the powers of Obtenebration have had ample opportunity to register themselves, and We thank them for their devotion. Any others who have not yet registered with this Office who are not Camarilla Lasombra no longer have the opportunity to do so, and are to be handled in the same manner as outlined in the original Directive."
