The Habit of Being

Welcome to the Habit of Being (HoB), a live action roleplaying game that runs in Milledgeville, Georgia on the Georgia College & State University Campus. The HoB game setting is the old World of Darkness created by White Wolf Gaming Studios. Players join the ranks of their favorite Vampire Clans and engage in the age old war of their Elders.

Everyone is welcome to join in the game. The HoB runs off of the Minds Eye Theatre system created by White Wolf, and is played on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month. For more detailed dates and Locations see our Calendar.

***IMPORTANT NEWS AND INFORMATION***

Game Donations
The Habit of Being is able to function from donations given by our players and staff. We encourage donations of $2 per gathering, which covers supplies, web-site fees, building the resource library for game use, site donations, and organizing big special events for HoB players. If you are unable to pay this amount, please talk to a member of the ST or Narrator staff to make an arrangement for an IOU. All IOU's will be collected at the end of each month.

Game Dates During GC&SU Events
We will still have game on the weekends of GC&SU theatre or music events. If you attend a theatre or musical event (on Thursday, Friday, or Sunday) and/or submit a performance analysis to the ST list, you will receive character development xp. A performance analysis does not need to be a novella. A brief and comprehensive outline of the performance including how the performance affected you is all that is required.

Photo Gallery
If you have a camera with film and a flash, we would appreciate it if you could bring it and take pictures of the game. These will go in the new Photo Gallery section!

Player Inactivity
All players not present for two months (4 games) will be labeled inactive. Advance notice of at least 3 days prior to game is required to have a printed character sheet on hand at next game. Failure to do so may prevent you from playing your character on game night.

Additionally, inactive players may be removed from the HoB IC and respective Clan lists due to prolonged inactivity.
