The Habit of Being

The First Tradition: The Masquerade

Thou shalt not reveal thy true nature to those not of the Blood. Doing such shall renounce thy claims of Blood. LotN:CG pg. 18

This law extends to all that are not Kindred.
Using great strength, speed or resistance to damage in the face of those not of the Blood constitutes a breech. Likewise, any public display, discernible as unusual, of the gifts of our kind are forbidden.
In the event of a breech, the accused shall be brought before the Prince and judged in accordance to the breech of Masquerade. When judged, the accused will be made to realize that a violation of this Tradition is always a direct threat to the sanctity of all Kindred who reside within the Domain.

The Second Tradition: The Domain

Thy domain is thine own concern. All others owe thee respect while in it. None may challenge thy word while in thy domain. LotN:CG pg. 18

The Elder of each region within this Domain shall be given the right of Domain within such region. Only the Prince and the Justicars are above the authority of these Elders.
The laws of Elysium will be held sacred by all, and no one is granted authority to violate these laws. Use of Kindred powers within Elysium grounds is a direct violation of Domain. Force used to detain, punish or destroy violators of this law shall be handed out by the officers of this Domain.
Feeding grounds are decided by a council of Primogen by process of vote. Upon decision of feeding grounds, a formal document will be written up and brought to the attention of the Prince who shall declare final instatement of feeding grounds or instruct for further deliberation.
None are to bring explosive devices or materials of any sort onto Elysium Grounds. Such act will be a direct violation of Elysium and may be judged by the station of Prince in present domain with prior discussion with Primogen or Representative of accused individual clan. Punishment depending on severity may warrant Final Death in preservation of Domain sanctity.

The Third Tradition: The Progeny
Thou shall only Sire another with the permission of thine elder. If thou createst another without thine Elder's leave, both thou and thy Progeny shall be slain. LotN:CG pg. 18

Those wishing to sire Progeny must have the expressed permission of the Prince. In order to seek an audience with the Prince in accordance to the request of Progeny, named Kindred must have Status of at least 3.
If a Kindred violates this tradition, they and their progeny shall be subject to judgement. If the verdict of death is rendered, both Sire and Childe will be destroyed without appeal.

The Fourth Tradition: The Accounting
Those thou create are thine own children. Until thy Progeny shall be Released, thou shall command them in all things. Their sins are thine to endure. LotN:CG pg. 19

Kindred held under accounting are the complete responsibility of those who hold accountability for them. Any actions taken by those held in accountability fall directly in accordance to those accountable for them. Any punishment delivered to one shall be delivered to the other. There are no exceptions.

As a general guideline, those who wish to be Released from accounting will be required to know the laws of this Domain, know the positions of office within the Camarilla and demonstrate usefulness to Kindred society in the eyes of the Prince.

The Fifth Tradition: Hospitality

Honor one another's domain. When thou comest to a foreign city, thou shall present thyself to the one who ruleth there. Without the word of acceptance, thou art nothing. LotN: CG pg. 19

Any who enter this Domain shall present himself before the Prince. A record of current travel and affairs will be taken at time of presentation. Those who do not follow Hospitality are not under the protection of the Prince and will be considered hostile.

The Sixth Tradition: Destruction

Thou art forbidden to destroy another of thy kind. The right of destruction belongeth only to thine Elder. Only the Eldest among thee shall call the Blood Hunt. LotN:CG pg. 19

The Right of Destruction shall be granted only by the Prince. This Right entitles one to destroy unlives at rational discretion. Any who are granted this Right are still subject to the Tradition of Masqeurade. Any who violate the First Tradition shall fall goverened by it's law.
No Kindred may destroy her own childer without permission from the Prince. Further, no Kindred may perform Amaranth upon her own childer. If discovered, the charged individual will be subject to judgement and punishment before the Prince.
No act of diablerie shall be excused; violators will be subject to destruction. Those who would kill without the permission of the Prince shall stand trial. The sentence will be declared publicly by the Primogen of that Kindred.

Domain Laws
Primogen Edict I

-All clans in the Milledgeville Domain are to elect an individual from their respective clan to sit as Primogen on the Primogen Council by the date of 9/16/00 at 9:30 p.m. EST.
In this absence of chair, I am hoping that individuals of said clan will be able to find a stable and worthy person to act as Primogen for their clan.
The above stated laws have been passed and enforced this 11th eve of September, in the year 2000.

Primogen Edict II

As already passed by the Primogen Council of Milledgeville on August 12th, 2000, the Primogen Council will meet each Saturday evening at 9:30 p.m. EST upon fore stated grounds.
As stated by this act, any Primogen who is tardy to said meeting will forfeit any and all votes for their clan in the duration of said Primogen Council meeting for that evening.

Macon Edict

None shall travel to or set form within the city of Macon and the county of Bibb during time of conflict unless given expressed permission by the standing Prince of the Georgia Domain or the standing Head of the War Council of the Georgia Domain. Upon end of this time of conflict, public missive shall be made by the standing Prince of the Georgia Domain stating this fact at which time further addendum or abolishment of this law shall occur. Any who are found in violation of this law are subject to punishment by the standing Prince of the Georgia Domain.

Atlanta Edict

None of Camarilla standing, stature, allegiance, or residence within the Georgia Domain shall venture into the city of Atlanta or encompassing counties without first seeking audience and approval with either the standing Prince of the Georgia Domain or the War Council Chief of the Georgia Domain. In the event that both Prince and War Council Chief are unavailable, interested party or parties must follow prior guidelines with the standing Seneschal of the Georgia Domain.
If none of the afore mentioned stations are available for approval, interested parties shall cease any advance into said area or face punishment.
Any who are found in violation to this edict shall be held in contempt for overall safety within this Domain and shall be held in punishment in accordance to fit justice by the standing Prince of the Georgia Domain. Council shall be held with the present Seneschal or War Council Chief in discussions of fit punishment when applicable.

Columbus Edict

None of Camarilla standing, stature, allegiance, or residence within the Georgia Domain shall venture into the city of Columbus or encompassing counties without first seeking audience and approval with either the reigning Prince of the Georgia Domain or the War Council Chief of the Georgia Domain. In the event that both Prince and War Council Chief are unavailable, interested party or parties must follow prior guidelines with the reigning Seneschal of the Georgia Domain.
If none of the afore mentioned stations are available for approval, interested parties shall cease any advance into said area or face punishment.
Any who are found in violation to this edict shall be held in contempt for overall safety within this Domain and shall be held in punishment in accordance to fit justice by the standing Prince of the Georgia Domain. Council shall be held with the present Seneschal or War Council Chief in discussions of fit punishment when applicable.

Savannah Edict

None of Camarilla standing, stature, allegiance, or residence within the Georgia Domain shall venture into the city of Savannah or encompassing counties without first seeking audience and approval with either the standing Prince of the Georgia Domain or the War Council Chief of the Georgia Domain. In the event that both Prince and War Council Chief are unavailable, interested party or parties must follow prior guidelines with the standing Seneschal of the Georgia Domain.
If none of the afore mentioned stations are available for approval, interested parties shall cease any advance into said area or face punishment.
Any who are found in violation to this edict shall be held in contempt for overall safety within this Domain and shall be held in punishment in accordance to fit justice by the standing Prince of the Georgia Domain. Council shall be held with the present Seneschal or War Council Chief in discussions of fit punishment when applicable.
As of current, the only exception to this edict are those known to be members of Clan Tremere. Travel to the city of Savannah by those of Clan Tremere shall be allowed for purpose of current residence only. This shall remain enforced for the duration of clan Tremere residence within the city of Savannah or until further notice is announced.

Jones County Edict

None of Camarilla standing, stature, allegiance, or residence within the Georgia Domain shall venture into the area of Jones County without first seeking audience and approval with either the standing Prince of the Georgia Domain or the War Council Chief of the Georgia Domain. In the event that both Prince and War Council Chief are unavailable, interested party or parties must follow prior guidelines with the standing Seneschal of the Georgia Domain.
If none of the afore mentioned stations are available for approval, interested parties shall cease any advance into said area or face punishment.
Exceptions to this law are those Clans and her blood who fall beneath the guidelines of appointed scouting parties as granted and approved by the standing War Council Chief.
None are to venture into the village area located within Jones County. Those who scout Jones County are still encouraged and allowed to do so, however the village area is not a location to be scouted or treaded upon. Breach of this law holds possible serious reprecussions for citizens of this Domain. Any who compromise this shall be seen as enemies of this Domain and treated as such. Failure to comply with this law shall bring forth strict and possible Final punishment.
Any who are found in violation of this edict shall be held in contempt for overall safety within this Domain and shall be held in punishment in accordance to fit justice by the standing Prince of the Georgia Domain. Council shall be held with the present Seneschal or War Council Chief in discussions of fit punishment when applicable.

Addendum: Macon/Bibb County edict, pertaining to the Jones County edict:
None are to venture into the area of Lake Tobesofkee area located within Macon, Georgia. In addition, none are to venture into the area of the Ocmulgee Indian Mounds/Monuments located within Macon, Georgia. Breach of this law holds possible serious reprecussions for citizens of this Domain. Any who compromise this safety shall be seen as enemies of this Domain and treated as such. Failure to comply with these laws shall bring forth strict and possible Final punishment. This edict pertains directly to the Jones County edict in relation to lupine activity and dwelling.

Addendum: Primogen Edict III
-Primogen council will meet every other Saturday at 9:00.
Failure to have representation will result in a loss of voice for the clan.

Addendum: Macon Edict

-The city of Macon in the county of Bibb is again open.
Feeding grounds are still in place however. The areas of West Macon and the Ocmulgee Indian Mounds are still off-limits. Failure to adhere to these guide lines will result in punishment from the domain officers.

Domain of Georgia Edict

As of this evening, April 7, 2004, C.E., the Domain of Georgia is no more. The Domain of Milledgeville will now be held by a single Prince just as the Domains of Augusta and Atlanta will be held by a single Prince. The city of Columbus is to remain uninhabited by Kindred until an investigation by His Celestial Eminence has finished.

As of this evening, the Domain of Milledgeville will consist of the counties of Baldwin, Jones, Bibb, Wilkinson, Twiggs, Houston, Peach, Crawford, Monroe, Jasper, Putnam, and Hancock. All who move within these areas are expected to follow the complete procedures and protocols of a citizen of the Camarilla and will fall beneath the Prince's reign.

Feeding Grounds Edict

The feeding grounds for the citizens of the Domain of Milledgeville are as follows:

Baldwin County: Clan Toreador
Bibb County: Clan Ventrue
Houston County: Clan Brujah
Peach County: Clan Tremere
Wilkinson County: Clan Nosferatu
Monroe County: Clan Malkavian
Crawford County: Clan Gangrel
Twiggs County: members of the Unaligned Clans
Jasper County: caitiff

From this evening forward members of the Clans will be expected to patrol the county that is considered their feeding grounds. It is suggested that the Primogen of each clan organize patrol groups for their clanmates to make certain that the domain is safe. Anything unusual or of note that is found on these patrols should be made known immediately to the Administration of the Domain.

As the Domain of Atlanta is now under the sway of a seperate jurisdiction than the Domain of Milledgeville, entrance into that domain is no longer prohibited. Instead, hospitality will need to be sought from the Prince of that Domain. Only once a Kindred has received hospitality from the Prince of Atlanta will that Kindred be allowed to travel there.

Augusta Edict

As the Domain of Augusta is now under the sway of a seperate jurisdiction than the Domain of Milledgeville, entrance into that domain is no longer prohibited. Instead, hospitality will need to be sought from the Prince of that Domain. Only once a Kindred has received hospitality from the Prince of Augusta will that Kindred be allowed to travel there.

In alteration to previous Primogen Edict II and III, I decree the following edict:

"Hereby referred to as 'Primogen Edict V' as of July 4th, 2005 , the Primogen Council will meet on the first and third Saturday evening of each month at 8:00 p.m. eastern standard time. These meetings shall be held on Elysium grounds as proclaimed by the Keeper of the Elysium. As stated by this act, any Primogen who is tardy to said meeting will forfeit any and all votes for their clan in the duration of said Primogen Council meeting for that evening unless a representative holding the title of Whip is present on behalf of their respective Clan."

Additionally, the following edicts shall be enforced with alteration within the Middle Georgia Domain:

If none of the afore mentioned stations are available for approval, interested parties shall cease any advance into said area or face punishment.
Any who are found in violation to this edict shall be held in contempt for overall safety within this Domain and shall be held in punishment in accordance to fit justice by the standing Prince of the Middle Georgia Domain. Council shall be held with the present Seneschal in discussions of fit punishment when applicable.

Addendum: Jones County Edict
None of Camarilla standing, stature, allegiance, or residence within the Georgia Domain shall venture into the area of Jones County without first seeking audience and approval with either the standing Prince of the Middle Georgia Domain. In the event that the Prince is unavailable, interested party or parties must follow prior guidelines with the standing Seneschal of the Georgia Domain.
If none of the afore mentioned stations are available for approval, interested parties shall cease any advance into said area or face punishment.

Addendum: Feeding Grounds
As of this evening (Jan 9 2006), feeding grounds for the domain of Middle Georgia have been changed. Please take note of where your clan is to feed if it has changed.

If you are caught feeding in another's territory you shall be brought forth to me (the Prince) along with the Primogen of the accusing clan. The matter will be settled and punishments levied.

What happens in Middle Georgia stays in Middle Georgia
Unless specifically told otherwise, you are not to talk to members outside of the domain about the affairs of the domain. This is obviously within reason; if a Justicar asks you what has been happening in the city, you tell him. However, there is no need to draw undue attention to this region and shouting out our rather unique affairs to every John, Lily and Sven outside of the city will undoubtedly do that.
